Narrative

Most pocket lit books are bi-weekly. There are no illustrations or images inside. There are usually advertisements, but mostly for other works by the same publisher. Covers such as this one are typical, invariably indicating, vaguely, the content by picturing a man and a woman, usually close together or embracing. Novel covers, more often, have suggestive poses or outright nudity, while periodicals may have sexually explicit content.
